Hunter asked why everyone uses the phrase "tom the Turkey" my response was "no idea...lets name ours Tina this year" so here she is 18.5 pounds of her ready to be deep fried by our chef Roger!
Dinner was wonderful as usual, I tried a pumpkin puree this year, was not a big hit with others. (I thought it was close to what was served at CRUSH restaurant but again I'm no chef...LOL) the usual crowd of Dale,Linda, Brett, Charlie, Mary,Lyn, Boys, Darlene, Roger and I. Plenty of leftovers and sent the caucus (funny sounding) home with Darlene for soup! Everyone helped clean up and enjoy the afternoon.
