Long holiday weekend!

After the crowd left on Thursday we all took a nap. Lyn and I headed to Target at 4am on Friday for some door busting sales, we did not even attempt to go in due to the line was clear across to Red lobster, so much for trying! Did do some shopping in afternoon, and dinner at Mannys with Darlene and Roger. We attended the NorthCoast roofing Christmas party as guests on Friday night. Thanks Nate and Katie for the invite it was fun!
Saturday I spent most of the day putting up Christmas decorations including the trees. Saturday night we headed to Papermoon for some wine drinking with Pam and Tonya and crew. Thanks for the laughs girls need to do that more often!
Sunday we (Darlene, Lyn Boy and I) headed to Cleveland to hear Trans Siberian Orchestra play at the Q. What a light show the boys really enjoyed it.

16 pound deep fried turkey, and too many sides to list! Family and friends wonderful afternoon.

Warm weather continues and this is what we woke up to Sunday, for those who will admit i need a larger zoom lens...its eagles in our neighbors trees.

Warm weather weekend....

Its been such nice weather in the 50's every day! feels more like spring and not late fall. Saturday night we attended the shipwrecks and scuba banquet as a family, the boys enjoyed the presentations. We also bought an addition to add to our wall at home from a local artist of shipwreck painting, I really enjoy this one!

This is how we sleep...

after a late night on Saturday with our annual CBN (Chili, Beer in November ) party the boys caught a nap on the couch.

For the record 22quarts of chili eaten, 5 bag of non recyclable trash, 4 13 gallon bags of glass beer bottles, 4 empty wine bottles and lots of great conversation with great Friends and family. Thanks to that attended and for those who did not expect to see you next year!

First Frost on the Lake

woke up to the first frost of the year on the lake/bay. One of the perks of water is the late frost not too bad for the second week of November some years we have snow by this date!
