what a clean house

Sunday was spent cleaning and i mean cleaning...had not washed floors(hands and knees) since first of November...lots of odd/ends done today including making chocolate cookies, and making chili for dinner on Monday ! Amy baby shower invites 80%done! wow lots of bows that needed to be tied! showered at 4 pm and went to dinner at in laws!

busy past week...seems the week after vacation is the worst! reorganizing , wishing you were on vacation, laundry wishing you were on vacation again, uploading pictures, wishing you were on vacation...do you see where i am going with this?

Friday boys, Dee Dee and I went to the annual St Peters spaghetti dinner to kick off catholic schools week, very enjoyable time! Hayden had 5 yes 5 plates of spaghetti...

Dominican Vacation

Lyn and i just arrived back from 7 days in the Dominican republic, this was the first visit for the both of us.. we really enjoyed it and would recommend it as a vacation spot for anyone thinking about it! the worst part of a vacation is you feel you need a vacation to recover from vacation!

we stayed at the NH real http://www.edenh-realarena.com/ in Punta Canta, we traveled with Ron, Lynnette, Kay and Ron Sr (Ron's mom & dad) made for a great group!

We all enjoyed out upgrade to the Paradise club Suite!

I made two dives one which was a wall dive (first for me) with a max dept of 87 feet (yeah for me)! Lyn enjoyed two more days of diving than me i choose to spend my time in the SUN!

on side note the boys enjoyed a week with Darlene and Roger, they keep them very busy. The boys even worked on their shotting skills with the guns!

Just another Monday....

well kinda but today was my birthday...YES i turned 30 again!.So here is the low down on how it went..ran ahead of scheduled dropping boys off to catch bus, arrived to work 5 minutes early...was sung happy birthday to by Chris and Michelle, enjoyed a Starbucks that Michelle bought me! Michelle and Chris gave me a gift card for Starbucks and a beautiful friendship necklace from http://www.dogeared.com/ !

Vicki gave me a card (that was so fitting regarding shoes) and a gift card from Starbucks! I am so luck to work with a wonderful group people.

Ran on schueld all morning (yeah for a monday) had a patient bring me a box of candy beacuse i remember his name last week,

picked up boys after school and went home and got ready for a dinner with my boys..(Roger was working in Denver due to the fact we are going on vacation next week) at a surpise location only they knew (planned with Rogers help)...i was to drive and they were to give me only turn by turn directions......that was very intersting due to the fact most 11 years olds dont know street names ...it was turn here mom! as i pass the street going 35mph! love my boys! we ended up at ZINC! this is Sandusky best keep secret ! i love it ! http://www.zincbrasserie.com/ this was the first time ofr the boys to dine here....they did very well...The boys orded the cheese platter before i could even look at the specials! (i think Lyn may helped them with that one)Hunter passed on the duck and chose the petiete filet over potato puree, muschroom risoto and parsnip puree along with me! Hayden enjoyed the angel hair pasta with a tomoato sauce with shrimp! I enjoyed a wonderful glass of SHOW!

COLD COLD DAY on the bay!

wow it was a lazy day for sure! but that's what makes a good weekend for me! Lyn moved snow around the driveway...i think he enjoyed playing on uncle Dan's tractor. Boys helped me make some molded Candy for a baby shower at work next week, they enjoying being in the kitchen and helping me! We all decided to go out and play on the bay the boys have been dying to go out since its completely frozen! Boy was it COLD and WINDY! Sugar ran almost across the bay to the airport! we made it about 20 minutes and had to come in the wind chill was WAY below zero! boys would have loved to stay out longer but even with snow gear i was afraid of frostbite! here are a few pics!

1st work day of the year was a snowy one!

back to the grind...Roger to Denver after a very rough commute to the airport due to weather conditions, about 3 inches of snow.....overnight.

Boys and I did survive the weather and make it to school and work on time( i was actually early despite following someone down Cleveland Road at 25 miles an hour.... :)

Kali and Sugar enjoyed a romp in the backyard snow....high temp today was 25!

Roger, Dee Dee and Mee Mee S are on the Annual January gambling spree someplace....New York or Pennsylvania!

I spend the night working on baby shower invites and boys chilling the couch play what else...XBOX!

not a bad first WORK/SCHOOL day of 2010! BEST PART NO 5TH GRADE HOMEWORK!

Day of Trees... and more Trees!

Boy off with Sam cutting wood! Lyn and I spent most of morning putting away Christmas trees....oh what a treat that is....this is when i do question if i have tooo many trees? then it soon passes and i get the idea to buy another one! And I did..(7.5 foot from Lighthouse)..but i am getting rid of one too....so I'm even! pre-light all the way!Lyn was excited it was till in box this year so it much easier to put away! Lyn said if i bought it it would also double as my birthday gift! Men....

lunch was BWs for wings! side note they are out of Christmas ale!

picked up some after Christmas deals at meijer...how can you pass up a $2.49 Christmas tablecloth(nice one too not a cheesy one)? Lyn said he could tell me how...just walk past! Men.....went shopping for a new phone system for the house (this is how we plan to spend the Christmas money we received from Mee Mee S)

Dinner with the CREW(Dustin and SO, Wes and SO, Chirsta, Matt, Chad, Sarah, Ron, LB, Me and Lyn) at Danny Boys. Lots of laughs had over that cup of chicken chili!

Hung at the Michigan ranch for a bit...went to bed early (by 11) Lyn stayed out till last call!

2010 New Years DaY

Even though I vowed I would be in warmer place for new years 2010 watching the conch shell drop was here in O H I O... ready to cheer on the buckeyes....(at least they won!)

Lyn and I spent the morning racking the wine...nothing was broken this time!

I think this is 5 or 6 years running i have been making a prime rib for New Years Day dinner, this years attendees Mee Mee S, Darlene, Linda, Dale, Pam, Tom, Tara, Taylor, Hunter, Hayden, Lyn and I. Roger was ill at home not sure if it was too many clams from night before or the beer flu....
Spent the afternoon watching football and movies! Loved the fact we had nothing to do!
